Garmin is proud to announce two new panel mounted Multi-Function Displays designed for the Experimental and

Light Sport retrofit markets. Leveraging the technology of our new top of the line GPSMAP 695/696 portables, the

GDU 370 and GDU 375 are non-certified MFDs which include all the features you have come to expect from the

leader in aviation in an easy to panel mount package. The GDU 375 includes a built-in XM weather receiver, while

the GDU 370 has all the same features, excluding XM capability.

What separates the GDU 370 and GDU 375 from their portable counterparts is the ”building-block“ design. These

MFDs can be expanded in the future, by adding other Garmin components to provide a full functioning Primary

Flight Display in addition to their MFD capabilities. Customers can choose to have one, two or three displays for

their aircraft. When two or three displays are utilized you gain the added redundancy of a PFD reversionary mode

in the event one display is disabled.

Customers that purchase these MFDs can easily transform the GDU 370 or GDU 375 into a dedicated PFD or

PFD/MFD with the purchase of the Garmin G3X PFD upgrade kit. We expect the additional components and

software to be available in the second half of 2009 for the PFD functionality. The PFD kit will include a solid state

ADAHRS, Engine Instrument System, Magnetometer, configuration module and temperature probe. With the

addition of this kit to one or more GDUs, the system will be known as the Garmin G3X.

Garmin is currently taking orders now for the GDU 370 and GDU 375 with deliveries to begin in March 2009.

Delivery dates will be scheduled in the order which they are received with a limit of 10 GDUs per distributor on

initial order. These are non-TSO’d products exclusively for use in experimental and LSA aircraft.

The GDU 370 and GDU 375 are large, seven inch portrait displays that incorporate Garmin’s latest technology to

ensure outstanding readability day or night. The bezel that frames the sunlight readable screen has multiple keys

on the bottom and right sides. The soft keys at the bottom of the display control the most commonly used features

of the current page, such as turning the weather display on/off. The dedicated keys on the display’s right side have

specific functions such as nearest, direct to, flight plan, zoom in/out and menu. Also on the display’s right side is a

rotary knob/joystick, similar to the G1000’s joystick, that lets pilots enter airport identifiers, pan the map, or scroll to

page and sub-page groups. Unlike the GPSMAP 695/696, the GDU 370 and GDU 375 are designed for panel

mounting, have redundant power inputs, expanded interface capability and front mounted SD card slots. Antenna

options for GPS and/or XM are sold separately.

Garmin’s FlightCharts can also be displayed on the new GDU 370/375 which brings Electronic Chart capability to

your cockpit and can reduce the use of paper in flight. FlightCharts are pre-loaded and require purchasing a

subscription to remain current. FlightCharts will no longer display after the data is 6 months out of date. A visit to

FlyGarmin.com will allow customers to update all databases necessary to keep their GDU 370/375 current.
