Service bulletin 0921 rev "A" requires that all SL-30, SL-40 and Gns-480's with certain mod levels be returned to the factory through a dealer for a comm transmition problem. I was told today that pretty much all of them since 2004 are effected.
SL-30 mod y or AC, without Mod AE SL-40 Mod V or AB, without Mod AE Gns-480 Mod F or N, without Mod T Please call us and schedule the return to the factory. You will be responsible to pay only shipping. Mod is free only for one year. After that it will cost you to have it done.

GARMIN PRICE INCREASES NOW PUBLIC !!!
But no worries. Only 3rd party vendor items increased. Worth noting are 2 price increases. The GI-102A and GI-106A prices increase by about 10% over last years prices. Good news!!! The GPS-196/296/396 have price decreases to $549/$995/$1495. All other Garmin pricing remains intact for this year. MORE GARMIN NEWS!!!

We added a new section called Recent work. Please check out our recent completion of a G-600 in a Cessna 421B and a total panel and avionics retrofit on a RV-6. This section will be only for work completed on our hanger floor. Panels we fabricate for customers to put in themselves will be under the panel project and more panel project sections.

GPS-696 has it all. XM weather, XM music, VFR and IFR maps (Electronic Flight bag capable), Full instrument panel, high resolution terrain and Garmin Safe Taxi.
With the addition of Garmin FliteCharts®¹ and IFR map mode, the GPSMAP 696 has Class 1/Class 2 electronic flight bag (EFB) capability, reducing the use of paper charts in the cockpit. With FliteCharts, you can quickly find and view all U.S. NACO departure procedures (DP), standard terminal arrival routes (STARs), approach charts and airport diagrams. If the current approach is known, GPSMAP 696 automatically selects the correct chart based on the flight plan. When in IFR map mode, the 696 can display victor airways, jet routes, minimum enroute altitude and leg distance, much like found on paper enroute charts.
